About Our Beginners Courses

All of our beginner courses are run to Archery GB Guidelines by Archery GB qualified coaches.

The course consists of a two hour taster session followed by five weeks of a two hour training session. Here you will learn all about the different bows, how to present yourself on the line and how to successfully and safely shoot.

Once all sessions have been attended, you will be presented with your certificate of completion. You are then welcome to join the club to further develop your shooting skills.

The beginners courses are priced at £85 for the six-week course.

What’s included in the course?

When you start the course you will be presented with your own mini kit to take home. This includes a finger tab, arm guard, resistance band and a finger sling. You will have use of the club bows and arrows during the 6 week course. We encourage you to obtain your own kit once you have completed the course to help you progress further.

Our club equipment may continue to be used for a further 3 months after completing the course, then a charge of £1 per session will be payable in advance if you have not been able to obtain any kit of your own.
